Hazrat Muhammad (S.a.w.w) Great Sayings

  

Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.a.w.w) left behind a vast body of sayings, teachings, and actions that form the foundation of Islamic tradition. These sayings, known as Hadith, are a primary source of Islamic law and morality. Here are some of his famous sayings:

 

1. "The best of you is he who learns the Qur'an and teaches it." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
2. "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
3. "The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people." (Musnad Ahmad)
4. "The strong man is not the one who is physically strong, but the one who can control his anger." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
5. "A true Muslim is one from whose tongue and hands mankind is safe." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
6. "The best of you are those who are best to their wives." (Sunan Ibn Majah)
7. "The best charity is that given in Ramadan." (At-Tirmidhi)
8. "Do not belittle any good deed, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face." (Sahih Muslim)
9. "Smiling at your brother is a charity." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi)
10. "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

11. "The best among you are those who have the best manners and character." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
12. "Allah does not judge you based on your appearance and wealth, but He judges you based on your hearts and deeds." (Sahih Muslim)
13. "He who is not grateful to people, is not grateful to Allah." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi)
14. "The best form of worship is to have good manners." (Al-Mu'jam Al-Awsat)
15. "The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever." (Sahih Muslim)
16. "The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
17. "The rights of a Muslim over another Muslim are six: to greet him with salaam (peace), to respond to his invitation, to visit him when he is sick, to follow his funeral, to congratulate him on his happiness and to console him in his grief." (Sahih Muslim)
18. "The one who seeks knowledge is like a person who fasts during the day and prays at night." (Sunan Ibn Majah)
19. "Be kind, for whenever kindness becomes part of something, it beautifies it. Whenever it is taken from something, it leaves it tarnished." (Muslim)
20. "The best of charity is that which is practiced by a wealthy person. And start giving first to your dependents." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

21. "The believer is not he who eats his fill while his neighbor is hungry." (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad)
22. "The best of actions is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi)
23. "The best of speech is the Book of Allah, and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad." (Sunan Ibn Majah)
24. "Modesty is part of faith and faith leads to Paradise." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
25. "When you see someone who has been given more than you in money and beauty, look to those who have been given less." (Sahih Muslim)
26. "A person's true wealth is the good he or she does in the world." (Sahih Muslim)
27. "Do not waste water even if you were at a running stream." (Sunan Ibn Majah)
28. "The best among you is he who learns the Qur'an and teaches it." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
29. "The most truthful speech is the Book of Allah and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad." (Sahih Muslim)
30. "The prayer is a pillar of the religion; whoever establishes it, establishes religion. Whoever destroys it, destroys religion." (Sunan Ibn Majah)

31. "The most perfect believer in faith is the one who is best in moral character." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi)
32. "Do not let your tongue utter what your heart does not believe." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
33. "The rights of one Muslim over another are five: to return the greetings, to visit the sick, to attend funerals, to accept invitations, and to respond to sneezing." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
34. "No one of you is a believer until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
35. "The most beloved of deeds to Allah are the most consistent, even if it is small." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
36. "Whoever is kind, Allah will be kind to him; therefore be kind to man on the earth. He who is in heaven will show mercy on you." (Sunan Abi Dawud)
37. "Verily, Allah is kind and gentle, and He loves kindness and gentleness in all things." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
38. "The best way to worship Allah is to be kind to His creatures." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
39. "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
40. "A good word is a charity." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

41.  "The best charity is that given in Ramadan." (At-Tirmidhi)

42.  "The strong man is not the one who can overpower others. Rather, the strong man is the one who controls himself when he is angry." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

43.  "No one of you becomes a true believer until he desires for his brother what he desires for himself." (Sahih Muslim)

44.  "When you look at someone who has a higher rank than you, think of someone who has a lower rank than yourself, and when you look at someone who has a lower rank than you, think of someone who has a higher rank than you." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

45.  "The best of you are those who are best to their women." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi)

46.  "Smiling in the face of your brother is a form of charity." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi)

47.  "A man will not have perfect faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

48.  "The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people." (Al-Mu'jam Al-Awsat)

49.  "He who has no kindness has no faith." (Sahih Muslim)

50.  "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
